Volleyball Game Preview: Edison Chargers vs. Western Reserve Roughriders

The Edison Chargers will take on the Western Reserve Roughriders in a tournament on Thursday.

Edison came up short against St. Paul on Saturday, falling 3-0. The Chargers have struggled against the Flyers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-20, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Western Reserve got the win against Crestview on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Roughriders.

While Western Reserve might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Crestview scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-22, 25-22.

Western Reserve's win bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Edison, their loss dropped their record down to 9-13.

Edison skirted past Western Reserve 3-2 when the teams last played back in September. Do the Chargers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Roughriders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
