Softball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Shadow Ridge

Shadow Ridge had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Green Valley Gators by a score of 12-7. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 16-6 back in March.

Shadow Ridge got a massive performance out of Rosely Hensley-Mokiao, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Madison Blosser, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

Shadow Ridge was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .485. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .344 or higher in four consecutive matchups.

Shadow Ridge's record is now 17-6. As for Green Valley, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 15-11.

As of now, neither Shadow Ridge nor the Gators have any future games scheduled.
