Soccer Game Preview: Robertson vs. Santa Fe Prep

The Robertson Cardinals will head out to challenge the Santa Fe Prep Blue Griffins at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Robertson's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for 15 straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Robertson fell victim to Academy for Technology and The Classics and their airtight defense on Saturday. They came up short against Academy for Technology and The Classics, falling 6-0.

Meanwhile, Santa Fe Prep entered their tilt with West Las Vegas on Tuesday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. Their defense stepped up to hand the Dons a 6-0 shutout. Give Santa Fe Prep's defense some credit: that's the team's sixth straight shutout.

Santa Fe Prep's win bumped their record up to 14-2. As for Robertson, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-15.

Robertson might still be hurting after the 10-0 loss they got from Santa Fe Prep in their previous matchup last Saturday. Can the Cardinals avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
