Baseball Recap: Prince George Takes a Loss

The Prince George Royals wound up with the same score they had in their last game (4-2), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time.

Prince George saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jack Mozucha, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base. Mozucha is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

Prince George's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Powhatan, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

Prince George will be playing at home against Meadowbrook at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Monarchs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.29 runs per game on average), something the Royals will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Powhatan, they will head out on the road to take on Monacan at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
