On Friday, the Weddington Warriors made easy work of the Nation Ford Falcons and carried off a 59-37 win. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 20 points or more this season.

Weddington's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Caroline Clark, who went 6 for 11 on her way to 18 points. Bailey Page was another key player, going 8 for 12 on her way to 20 points and five rebounds.

Weddington's record is now 8-5. As for Nation Ford, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Weddington will challenge East Mecklenburg at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Nation Ford is facing Indian Land at the right time seeing as Indian Land is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
