Basketball Recap: Clements Takes a Loss

Clements was the 51-25 winner over Colbert County when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Clements Colts took a 54-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Colbert County Indians on Tuesday. The Colts have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Colbert County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Joyden Ricks, who posted 20 points. Another player making a difference was Jada Taylor, who put up 12 points.

Clements now has a losing record at 10-11. As for Colbert County, the win got them back to even at 9-9.

Clements wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 70-40 victory against Elkmont on the 17th. Colbert County has also already played their next contest, a 59-20 loss against Lauderdale County on the 16th.
