Lake Norman came into Thursday's matchup looking for another win against South Iredell, but Bella Gallyon wouldn't allow it. The Vikings were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wildcats on Thursday with plenty of help from Gallyon, who had 24 digs and three assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last nine games she's played.

South Iredell walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-22, 25-14.

Despite the loss, Lake Norman still got an impressive performance from Maya Forrai, who had 26 digs and two aces.

The win made it two in a row for South Iredell and bumps their season record up to 12-9. As for Lake Norman, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season.

South Iredell has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Statesville on the 7th. As for Lake Norman, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against North Iredell on the 7th.
