New Buffalo had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Lawrence Tigers as they made off with a 17-2 win. The Bison might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matches by seven runs or more this season.

New Buffalo pushed their record up to 12-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.0 runs over those games. As for Lawrence, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-19.

Looking ahead, New Buffalo will challenge Michigan Lutheran at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lawrence, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 19-8 victory against Eau Claire on the 10th.
