Seneca extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping them up to 15-7. They walked away with a 12-7 win over the Blue Ridge Tigers. This was a revenge game for the Bobcats: when they faced off against the Tigers last Tuesday, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

As for Blue Ridge, the defeat snapped their winning streak at nine games and leaves them with a 13-2 record. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for they, who until this contest were averaging 3.47 runs allowed.

For Blue Ridge's part, Bella Ballenger was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run. Brynlee Bayne was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Seneca will venture away from home to take on Berea at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last. As for Blue Ridge, they will square off against Crescent at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
