Volleyball Recap: Waco Lions vs. Lago Vista Vikings
Waco was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Lago Vista Vikings. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2022.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-7, 25-14.
Waco's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Lago Vista, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-18.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Waco will face off against Gatesville at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lago Vista, they will challenge St. Michael's at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
