Soccer Game Preview: Richland vs. Columbia Academy

The Richland Raiders are taking a road trip to face off against the Columbia Academy Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Richland will be strutting in after a victory while Columbia Academy will be coming in after a defeat.

Richland is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They blew past Wayne County 10-1 on Tuesday. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Columbia Academy's undefeated season came to an end after three games on Tuesday. They fell 4-2 to The Webb School. The loss was the Bulldogs' first of the season.

Richland's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2-1. As for Columbia Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-1.

Richland might still be hurting after the 10-0 defeat they got from Columbia Academy in their previous matchup back in April of 2017. Can Richland avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
