Branham has won five straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Willow Glen has won five straight on the road also dating back to last season, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Branham Bruins will face off against the Willow Glen Rams at 4:00 p.m. The two teams are at an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2016, but likely not for long.

Last Tuesday, Branham didn't have quite enough to beat Sequoia and fell 5-4.

Ellie Bliss and Kaitlyn Douglas stepped up to the plate in a big way. Bliss scored two runs while going 2-for-3, while Douglas went 3-for-4 with one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Autumn Burns, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Willow Glen earned a 6-2 win over Encinal on Saturday.

Catalina Medina made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She tossed five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double. That double marked the first that she hit this season.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Sienna Wilson, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-4. Cianna Miranda was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Willow Glen hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most three strikeouts in three consecutive matches.

Willow Glen's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Branham, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.
