Softball Recap: Dodd City Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Dodd City can now relate to. They fell 7-2 to the Ector Eagles on Friday. The Hornets haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Dodd City's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Ector, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-11.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Eagles beat Dodd City by a score of 7-2 later that day.
