Ironwood Ridge not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since April 8th (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against the Walden Grove Red Wolves as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Nighthawks.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-14, 25-18.

Ironwood Ridge's offense was headlined by Evan Birtcil and Ian Dahl, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Chad McGee and his 17 assists. Jayce Soto-Balin controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Ironwood Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 16-12. As for Walden Grove, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.

Ironwood Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Sahuarita on the 29th. As for Walden Grove, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Cholla on the 29th.
