Easley proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by five) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Woodmont Wildcats 4-3. The score was all tied up 2-2 at the break, but the Green Wave were the better team in the second half.

They hit Woodmont with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Olivia Hazel (2), Yulizza Maximo-Hayes, and Anna Huntyr Hemphill.

Easley's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those three matchups. As for Woodmont, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Easley will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Greenville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Woodmont, they will venture away from home to take on J.L. Mann at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
