Softball Game Preview: Fowler Redcats vs. Porterville Panthers

The Fowler Redcats will take on the Porterville Panthers in a tournament on Wednesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Fowler lost 8-1 to Wasco on Friday.

Fowler saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Andreya Mendoza, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Meanwhile, Porterville came up short against Mission Oak on Friday, falling 8-2.

Klarissa Manrriquez spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and five unearned) runs on 11 hits.

Porterville's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Fowler, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 0-2.
