Cody Callaway and Logan Bolin provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Rocky River. The connection was good for 63 yards, the longest such play in West Shore this season.

Avon extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Lakewood, 52-7. The win marks fourth in a row for the the Eagles.

Midview's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Middies feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Callaway has thrown for 1,007 yards and 10 touchdowns this season, while Bolin has 24 catches for 466 yards.

The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Avon takes on second place Midview. Avon bested the Rangers last week, while Midview defeated the Pirates.

The Middies' offense has racked up 122 points this season, earning them the top spot in the league, while Mike Elder's team has allowed only 30 on the year.

Elyria Catholic scaled the state rankings by moving to 163 from 211 this week, the biggest jump in West Shore. The Panthers were able to move up by topping Bay 38-6.
