Yucca Valley's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Daniel Mills, who scored 15 points along with five steals. Those five steals set a new season-high mark for him. Jadon Pierce was another key contributor, scoring 20 points along with three steals.
Yucca Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for San Pedro, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-7 record this season.
