After losing to Trinity Christian the last time they met, Northwood Temple Academy decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Northwood Temple Academy Eagles managed a 69-65 victory over the Trinity Christian Crusaders on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Northwood Temple Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kenny Vera, who went 7 of 14 en route to 21 points along with five assists and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah Kindle, who went 8 of 16 on his way to 22 points in addition to five boards and three steals.

Northwood Temple Academy is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. As for Trinity Christian, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 11-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northwood Temple Academy will square off against Freedom Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Trinity Christian, they will venture away from home to face off against Wayne Country Day at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Wayne Country Day will roll in looking for their 14th straight win, something Trinity Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
