Softball Recap: Dawson's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Monday

It was a good run, but Dawson unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Monday. They came up short against the Dobie Longhorns, falling 10-4. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Longhorns this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 19-3 back in February.

Dawson now has a losing record of 8-9-1. As for Dobie, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dawson will face off against Pasadena Memorial at 4:00 p.m. on March 25th. As for Dobie, they will take on La Porte at 6:30 p.m. on March 25th.
