On Thursday Cannon Wilson tossed 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. The effort marked the fewest earned runs Wilson has had since back in February. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his third in a row with less than two hits. This year, he has an ERA of 5.56 over 11.3 innings pitched.

Wilson and River Oaks will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Crossett at 6:00 p.m. on the 14th. Sadly, Wilson's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Mustangs' seven-game streak of wins on the road.
