At bat, Hidrogo got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run and two RBI, while Atcher scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances. Those two stolen bases gave Atcher a new career-high.

Piper Scott was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing four bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Fairdale entered their tilt with Valley on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by an 18-0 margin over the Vikings. The contest marked the Bulldogs' most dominant victory of the season so far.
Paige Tingle was a major factor no matter where she played. Tingle was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
In other batting news, Emma Krebs was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That triple was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Serenity Perry, who scored two runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Thursday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Portland Christian has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .718. However, it's not like Fairdale struggles in that department as they've averaged .594. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Portland Christian couldn't quite get it done against Fairdale in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 as they fell 3-0. Can Portland Christian avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
