Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Eagle Valley + How To Watch

After losing to Montrose the last time they met, Eagle Valley decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Devils walked away with a 56-48 victory over the Red Hawks on Saturday. The game was the first time the Devils have beaten the Red Hawks on their court since December 8, 2016.

Despite the loss, Montrose still got an impressive performance from Lane Pressler, who went 5-for-7 to rack up 14 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. Pressler is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of CJ Rocco, who posted 12 points.

The win was the third in a row for Eagle Valley, bringing their record up to 3-0. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 64.3 points this season. As for Montrose, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
