Pisgah won the last time they faced North Buncombe and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bears snuck past the Black Hawks with a 61-55 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bears.

Despite the loss, North Buncombe still got an impressive performance from Aubrey Gilliland, who went 9-for-16 en route to 18 points along with seven assists and three steals. Gilliland is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last nine games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Lily Metcalf, who posted nine points.

Pisgah's record now sits at 2-0. As for North Buncombe, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Pisgah will square off against Erwin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Buncombe, they will head out on the road to face off against Franklin at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
