Basketball Recap: Austin Comes Up Short

Austin was the 67-59 winner over Smethport when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Austin Panthers took a 46-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Smethport Hubbers on Tuesday.

Austin's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Smethport, their victory bumped their record up to 2-15.

Austin wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 60-30 defeat against Coudersport on the 5th. As for Smethport, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 62-54 loss against Sheffield on the 6th.
