Baseball Recap: Beaver Comes Up Short

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Beaver was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They lost 16-1 to the Moon Area Tigers. The loss continues a trend for the Bobcats in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost five in a row.

Beaver saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ty Butler, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two doubles.

Beaver's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Moon Area, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-9.

Beaver has already played their next contest (against Ambridge), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Moon Area, they will face off against Quaker Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
