The Pauls Valley Panthers will challenge the Vanoss Wolves at 1:00  p.m.  on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Pauls Valley headed into their last  match having not scored more than two  runs for four straight, but Stratford let them put that streak behind them. The Panthers were the clear victors by  an  11-1 margin over the Bulldogs on Thursday. The  victory was a breath of fresh air for the Panthers as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
 Ryan Dennis made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  pitched five innings while giving up just one earned run off   four  hits. What's more,  he posted three  strikeouts, the most he's  had since back in April of 2024. He was also stellar in the batter's box,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with three  stolen bases, two  runs,  and two  RBI.

 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Logan Schaper, who  went a perfect 4-for-4 with two  stolen bases and three  runs. Those  three  runs gave  him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Tanner Perry, who  went 2-for-3 with three  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI.
 Pauls Valley  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .515. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Stratford only posted  an  OBP of  .300.
Meanwhile,  winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Vanoss). They put the hurt on Wynnewood with a sharp  15-1 win on Tuesday. The Wolves have beaten the Savages the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Savages has come to flipping the script.
Like Pauls Valley, Vanoss also got a great game from a two-way player:  Kanon Bradley. He  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Bradley also  tossed  no  earned runs, which is notable because Vanoss is 2-1 when he allows at  most  three  earned runs, but 7-12 otherwise. Bradley was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with two  runs, one  double,  and one  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Cole Reeder was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with three  RBI, one  stolen base,  and one  run.  Cooper Treat was another key player,  going 3-for-4 with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI.
 Vanoss' victory bumped their record up to 9-13. As for Pauls Valley, their win bumped their record up to 4-20.
