Basketball Recap: Leipsic Takes a Loss

Leipsic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 53-47 heartbreaker at the hands of the Kalida Wildcats. If the Vikings were looking for revenge after losing 57-48 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Leipsic's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Kalida, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-7.

Leipsic will head out to square off against Vanlue at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Kalida, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Ottoville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
