Volleyball Game Preview: Desert Edge Scorpions vs. Canyon View Jaguars + How To Watch

Desert Edge hasn't had much luck against Canyon View recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Scorpions will head out on the road to face off against the Jaguars at 6:00 p.m.

Desert Edge managed to slip by Youngker the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Scorpions lost 3-0 to the Roughriders on Monday. Surprisingly, this marked the Scorpions' fifth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Desert Edge was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-19, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Canyon View entered their tilt with Buckeye on Monday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They came out on top against the Hawks by a score of 3-1.

Canyon View was especially dominant in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 22-25, 25-15, 25-19.

Canyon View's victory bumped their record up to 25-10-3. As for Desert Edge, their loss dropped their record down to 13-12.

Desert Edge suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Canyon View in their previous matchup on October 2nd. Can the Scorpions avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
