Basketball Recap: Chicago Marshall Beats Curie for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Chicago Marshall won the last time they faced Curie and things went their way on Friday too. The Commandos took down the Condors 42-23. The Commandos pushed the score to 38-14 by the end of the third, a deficit the Condors cut but never quite recovered from.

Chicago Marshall's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Monay Robinson led the charge by dropping a double-double with 15 points and ten boards. Anabel Robinson also deserves some recognition as she posted her first blocks of the season.

The victory (which was Chicago Marshall's fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.0 points on average over those games. As for Curie, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
