Soccer Recap: Jordan Takes a Loss

Jordan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against the Murray Spartans, falling 9-0. While losing is never fun, Jordan can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Utah soccer rankings (they are ranked 93rd, while Murray are ranked tenth).

Jordan's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Murray, they pushed their record up to 10-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Jordan is set to take on their familiar foe Hillcrest at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Murray will face off against rival Stansbury at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
