Basketball Recap: Lakeland Takes a Loss

Lakeland lost against Central Noble back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lakeland Lakers fell 54-47 to the Central Noble Cougars.

Lakeland dropped their record down to 12-7 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Central Noble, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 9-9.

Lakeland and Central Noble could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings. Lakeland (ranked 163rd) will meet Northridge (ranked 25th) at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Central Noble will face off against Concord at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday down 135 places (268 vs. 133).
