Basketball Game Preview: East Hall Vikings vs. Jefferson Dragons

The East Hall Vikings will face off against the Jefferson Dragons at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in East Hall's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last ten games.

East Hall is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Georgia's top teams: Cherokee Bluff, who was ranked ninth at the time (East Hall was ranked 17th). East Hall fell to Cherokee Bluff 76-72. The defeat continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Bears: they've now lost six in a row.

Meanwhile, Jefferson had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.8 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They strolled past the Purple Hurricanes with points to spare, taking the game 58-41.

Jefferson is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.4 points per game. As for East Hall, their loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 13-3.
