Soccer Recap: Illiana Christian Takes a Loss

After flying high against Highland on Monday, Illiana Christian came back down to earth. The Vikings fell just short of the Lowell Red Devils by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Illiana Christian couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Grant Terpstra, who's now up to five this season.

Illiana Christian's loss dropped their record down to 5-2-1. As for Lowell, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1.

Coming up, Illiana Christian will be playing at home against Kankakee Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lowell, they will venture away from home to face off against Morgan Township at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
