Recap: Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy Tigers vs. Trinity Catholic Celtics
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy Tigers, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They were outmatched by the Celtics on the road and fell 55-7. While losing is never fun, Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 319th, while Trinity Catholic is ranked 122nd).
Brogan Mcnab threw for 131 yards and a touchdown.
Jaeden Parker McMillan was his top target, picking up 97 receiving yards.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Trinity Catholic to victory, but perhaps none more so than Preston Wright ?25, who threw for 179 yards and three touchdowns on only 17 passes. John "Pops" Hayes was in the mix as well, providing Trinity Catholic with two touchdowns.
This is the second loss in a row for Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy and nudges their season record down to 7-4. As for Trinity Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 4-7.
Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Trinity Catholic will head out on the road to face off against Melbourne Central Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Melbourne Central Catholic will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.
