Soccer Recap: Palmyra-Macedon Comes Up Short

Palmyra-Macedon came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Mendon Vikings, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, Palmyra-Macedon can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 368th, while Mendon are ranked 19th).

Palmyra-Macedon has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-8-2 record this season. As for Mendon, their victory bumped their record up to 14-2.

As of now, neither Palmyra-Macedon nor the Vikings have any future games scheduled.
