West Forsyth dropped their record down to 20-4 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's nine-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Davie War Eagles by a score of  3-2. Having soared to a lofty 15  runs in the game before, the Titans couldn't push the score so high this time.
As for Davie, the  win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 14-12. The  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.9 runs on average over those games.
For Davie's part, they got a great performance from  Tucker Hobbs as he  tossed 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off   six  hits. Hobbs has become a key player for the War Eagles: the team is 5-2 when he allows at  most  one  earned run, but 9-10 otherwise.
 On the hitting side, Davie saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Hayden Potts, who  went 2-for-3 with one  run and one  double.
 West Forsyth does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Davie, they will square off against Reagan at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Raiders will roll in looking for their  11th straight  win, something the War Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
