Hillcrest's Darius Clay rumbled for the longest rushing play in A District 16 this season in his game against Memphis Northside last week. Clay ran for 99 yards on the play and finished with 161 on the day as his team bested the Cougars.

Fans got a thrill when Tomadreus Trezevant and Dejuan Mcquarters connected against Carver. The longest such play in the league this season, the connection resulted in 77 yards.

Trezevant threw for 254 yards and 3 touchdowns. He was 12-20 with 0 interceptions.

Clay was the best running back in the league this week. In 3 carries, he ran for 161 yards as Hillcrest topped the Cobras. Teammate Joshua Conner added to the ground attack by rushing for 52 yards.

The Tigers' Trezevant and Mcquarters have formed a dream team this season, leading A District 16 in both passing and receiving yards. 6-1 quarterback Trezevant has thrown for 1,130 yards this season, while Mcquarters has 31 catches for 567 yards. Julius Jackson Jr.'s team's Delquinton Boddie leads the league in rushing yards with 505.

The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Mitchell takes on second place Hillcrest. Mitchell topped Carver last week, while the Vikings defeated Memphis Northside.

The league will see a high scoring game when Hillcrest and Nathan Cole's team face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Vikings comes in having scored 167 this season, while the Tigers have scored 315. Hillcrest scored 52 points last week as it beat the Cougars.
