Basketball Game Preview: Eastlake Falcons vs. Eastwood Troopers

Last Friday, Eastlake was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 31-30 to Montwood.

Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Eastwood over Socorro in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Eastwood blew Socorro out of the water with a 66-37 final score. With the Troopers ahead 37-17 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Eastlake's defeat dropped their record down to 22-8. As for Eastwood, they pushed their record up to 24-6 with the win, which was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season.

Eastlake was taken down by Eastwood 68-30 when the teams last played back in January. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Eastwood's Devin Falk-Ramirez, who went 11 of 18 to rack up 29 points in addition to six boards and three blocks.
