Football Recap: Ionia Comes Up Short

Ionia and Portland pushed the score to 42-21 the last time they played Portland, but on Friday defenses reigned supreme. The Bulldogs and the Raiders were almost perfectly matched up, but the Bulldogs suffered a 1-0 defeat. The loss leaves the Bulldogs still looking for their first win of the season.

Ionia's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Portland, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
