Soccer Recap: West Caldwell Tech's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Tuesday

It was a good run, but West Caldwell Tech unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-match winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of Golda Och Academy by a score of 4-3. West Caldwell Tech were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Golda Och Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

West Caldwell Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Golda Och Academy, the victory snapped their losing streak at four matches and leaves them with a 3-4 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Caldwell Tech will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Somerset Tech at 4:00 p.m. on the 29th. As for Golda Och Academy, they will face off against Weequahic at 4:30 p.m. on the 9th. Golda Och Academy will be up against Weequahic's rather soft defense (which has allowed 6.6 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
