It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Riverview Sarasota can now relate to. They took a 31-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sumner Stingrays on Friday. It was the first time this season that the Rams let down their fans at home.

Parker Nippert threw for 122 yards and one TD. Anthony Miller was his top target, picking up 47 receiving yards. On the ground, Toryeon James rushed for 286 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 8.4 yards per carry.

Riverview Sarasota's loss dropped their record down to 9-2-1. As for Sumner, they pushed their record up to 10-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Riverview Sarasota does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sumner, they will head out to face off against Venice at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Stingrays will need to watch out since the Indians have now posted at least 31 points in their last five matchups.
