Softball Preview: American Heritage Stallions vs. Boca Raton Bobcats
The American Heritage Stallions will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against the Boca Raton Bobcats at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Boca Raton took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on American Heritage, who comes in off a win.
On Friday, American Heritage got the win against Atlantic Christian by a conclusive 20-4. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Stallions.
American Heritage let Victoria Kovic and Christine Osborne run wild. Kovic got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI, while Osborne scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2. That's the most runs Osborne has posted since back in February of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Briyanna Dodin, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Boca Raton fell victim to Cardinal Newman and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 18-0 to the Crusaders. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Bobcats' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
Boca Raton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for American Heritage, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
