Baseball Recap: Bloomfield Hills Has No Trouble Against Farmington

Bloomfield Hills had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the seven-run drubbing they dealt Farmington on Monday. The Black Hawks were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Falcons. The Black Hawks not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 26th (when they won 11-1).

Tyler M spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on five hits and racked up seven Ks. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Bloomfield Hills is 5-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 10-11 otherwise.

At the plate, Ishaan S was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April. Drew H was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Bloomfield Hills' win bumped their record up to 15-12. As for Farmington, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-23.

Bloomfield Hills will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Falcons: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
