Softball Game Preview: Mojave Mustangs vs. Lee Vining Tigers

The Mojave Mustangs are taking a road trip to challenge the Lee Vining Tigers at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. Mojave has given up an average of 11.9 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Tuesday, Mojave came up short against Trona and fell 11-8.

Meanwhile, Lee Vining was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 23-5 to Immanuel Christian.

Mojave's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Lee Vining, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

Mojave took their win against Lee Vining when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 17-6 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
