Softball Recap: Halifax Academy Takes a Loss

Halifax Academy managed to slip by Cape Fear Christian Academy the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Halifax Academy came up short against Cape Fear Christian Academy on Tuesday, falling 8-1. The Vikings just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Halifax Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maddy Bethel, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Halifax Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6-1. As for Cape Fear Christian Academy, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Coming up, Halifax Academy will face off against Pungo Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cape Fear Christian Academy, they will square off against Ridgecroft at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
