Zach Cwalinski Delivers Best Performance of Season

Zach Cwalinski produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Valley View to the win on Friday. Cwalinski rushed for 165 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.7 yards per carry, and also threw for 107 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 67 yards.

The victory (which was Valley View's seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-1. Cwalinski will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when he faces off against Wyoming Valley West on Friday.

Delaware Valley was sadly handed a loss on Friday, but Michael Iuzzolino did his best to prevent it. Despite the defeat, Iuzzolino was still balling out as he made 17 total tackles.

The loss snapped Delaware Valley's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-5 record. They and North Pocono are set to duel on Friday.

Nick Bradley Turns in Season-Best Performance

Nick Bradley produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Abington Heights to the win on Thursday. Bradley rushed for 31 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 216 yards and two touchdowns. He has become a key player for Abington Heights: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 2-3 otherwise.

Bradley and Abington Heights are taking a road trip to square off against Scranton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bradley will face off against Brody Coyle, the Knights' star quarterback. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

Valley View Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to Nick Kucharski

Nick Kucharski was instrumental in extending Valley View's winning streak to seven on Friday. Kucharski turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 80 yards and a touchdown, while also picking up 40 receiving yards. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making eight total tackles and defending a pass in addition to snagging an interception.

On the year, Kucharski has averaged 23.2 receiving yards per game.
