It's playoff time, and LaSalle had no trouble coming through when it counted. They never let the Plain Dealing Lions get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won 25 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

The win was the 16th in a row for LaSalle, bringing their record up to 30-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Plain Dealing, their loss dropped their record down to 8-14-1.

Coming up, LaSalle will take on DeQuincy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. LaSalle's pitchers better be ready for this one: DeQuincy has averaged an impressive 7.9 runs per game this season. Plain Dealing does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
