Volleyball Recap: Central Takes a Loss

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kirkwood Pioneers. If the Rebels were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Pioneers when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-14.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 5-19. As for Kirkwood, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-11-1 record this season.

Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Advance on the 11th. As for Kirkwood, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Lindbergh on the 11th.
