Basketball Recap: Angola Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Niles Knox and Ryan Stuckey

Angola lost against East Noble back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Angola Hornets received a blow as they fell 67-49 to the East Noble Knights.

Angola's loss came despite strong showings from Ryan Stuckey and Niles Knox. Stuckey on his way to 14 points, while Knox to rack up 14 points and eight boards. Stuckey is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 46% in the last three games he's played. Landon Leach was another key player, putting up five points.

Angola's defeat dropped their record down to 15-6. As for East Noble, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season.

Angola will welcome Lakeland at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Angola's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Lakeland has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road. As for East Noble, they will head out to square off against Wawasee at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. East Noble is facing Wawasee at the right time seeing as Wawasee is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
